The only girl in a family of four boys Breezi is smart resourceful self-assured and knows how to play rough if the situation warrants it. Breezi has always had a natural talent for elemental magic but with a strangely powerful affinity for Wind Craft. This magical affinity has often driven her to explore the secrets of nature through adventure and book study but has also proven to a problematic distraction. Her parents have looked on in wonder as Breezi has sabotaged one relationship after another. Considered beautiful and desirable by those above her social station Breezi has foiled the plans of many noble suiters and frustrated her familys designs on upward mobility. One after another young men fell prey to harsh wit and savage pranks until none were willing to attempt further advances. Throwing their hands up in resignation Breezis parents relent to her insistent begging and agree to send her to an obscure college called The Order of the Divine Scribe. It was among the monks and faithful of Xarxes the Divine Scribe of Auriel that she hoped to learn more about her magical gifts. Instead she finds the love of a boy named Neriander who helps her in her studies and the two are inseparable. Together they explore the adventure that is magic and their relationship blossoms but the happiness does not last. Neriander a boy of limited means scrapes together enough money for a simple ring and proposes marriage and Breezi happily agrees. But in the dead of night left to her thoughts Breezi begins to panic and overcome with anxiety and a fear of being too tied down to find her destiny she runs.
