HOW TO FREEZE MINT CORIANDER LEAVES Its quite challenging to preserve mint and coriander leaves for long time. We all buy bundles of fresh mint and coriander leaves but often worried that they might get wasted. Mint easily wilts and coriander leaves become mushy. But here is an easy way to store mint and coriander leaves for a long time. INGREDIENTS: Mint leaves Coriander leaves Colander Paper towels Plastic containers Zip lock bags METHOD: 1. Select fresh mint and coriander leaves. Remove damaged leaves and tough stems. Rinse thoroughly in running water 2. Drain excess water using colander 3. Spread over the paper towels 4. Gently pat it dry using paper towels 5. Chop the leaves to desired size 6. Store mint and coriander leaves in plastic containers or zip lock bags. Now they are all ready to get into the freezer. 7. Coriander and mint leaves stays fresh for months Remember they will limp when defrosted. They are great in recipes but they dont work well for garnishes!,
