The Bolete Eater Hypomyces chrysospermus on a Birch Bolete

The Bolete Eater Hypomyces chrysospermus is a parasitic fungus that grows on bolete mushrooms a fungus parasitizing another fungus. I think this was a Birch Bolete Leccinum scabrum because I found it among the healthy Birch Boletes that I filmed in the previous video . The bolete mould makes the bolete species pretty much unrecognizable though. After my friend Walt have reported a bolete that was attacked by this same fungus parasite that was brown inside I decide to check how this one was. I found out that it was not brown inside maybe the flesh also gets brown in a more advanced stage when the parasite fungus reaches the interior of the host bolete to digest it completely.
