DIY Intake sound

Woosh as you hit the throttle is the sound my jeep makes from my DIY intake system APC UNIVERSAL INTAKE KIT60. The KN cold air kit cost around 300 for this vehicle... and hasnt been updated since it came out it has its flaws. And the AEM intake isnt much better but i do think it has a design advantage. So I went and made my own based off of the AEM Bruteforce intake. Its pretty simple to do and self explanatory once you have all the pieces in front of you. Basically you pop the hood and remove the upper part of the stock airbox. You can remove the lower but it makes a big open area for things to get at your filter from underneath The link below is the exact kit I used dont pay any mind because this setup fits the jeep 5.25.9L V8 intake pretty well. The tubing is almost exactly the same size as stock. And didnt cause me to trip the ecu or sensors the jeep actually loved it! I did use a hacksaw on the piping but thats easy measure mark and cut. I am not sure if this will fit the 4.0L I6 but if its the same intake setup as the V8s then it should. Also I did eventually go with a bigger intake filter one made by KN that was 12 long. I do not have the model of the filter as i got it from a 4.7L jeep that already had some KN kit installed. But this filter was so heavy it would often draw the entire intake piping down so I had to add a metal bracket to support the weight.,
