Foundations of Development: The Elixir programming language: Reliable microservices made easy Abstract: The talk will explain and demonstrate Elixir concepts using power-point slides and live coding demos. Depending on the available time some topics might be done in a larger extent than others. Topics covering the distribution and communication of nodes will have priority as they show the suitability of Elixir for microservices. Due to the easily understandable syntax of Elixir it should be possible to follow the code examples without knowing the language in detail.
