I was looking for a belt grinder and the ones I saw were mostly either too pricey too large or both. This one has been working very well for me It makes it easy to sharpen knives and swords with it without having to worry about messing up the edge angle or scratching up the blade. And its a very quick way to do it. Its also handy for putting an actual edge on those Windlass blades that come unsharpened from the factory. Sure if youre very skilled at hand honing you can probably achieve a better edge but that takes a lot of experience and time and Im very satisfied with the sharpening job that this tool does.
