Spring Landscape Painting Tutorial: Forsythia with Pastels

This soft pastels tutorial walks you through the steps of spring landscape painting with forsythia and flowers. I use the wet underpainting technique to establish the base colors for the atmospheric background and bring the energy to the foreground colors. I show how to paint the trees in the background that let the main center of interest forsythia shine.
