The technical specifications of LED light bars often arent worth the paper theyre written on a lack of third-party verification means some manufacturers and brands might claim what they like. Meanwhile more reputable brands will cautiously publish data but its important to be clear how figures are calculated so when comparing one product or brand to the next that the figures quoted are like-for-like in terms of how they have been calculated. No where is this more true than lumen figures. Raw lumens are theoretically less prone to interpretation in how they are arrived at but effective lumens can be calculated accounting or not accounting for a number of different factors.
