Théodore Lack : Sorrentina Op.96

Lack 1846-1921 studied and later taught at the Paris Conservatoire. It was his pedagogical Methode de piano of 1909 that introduced Debussys Le petit negre to the world. I think the title of this piece translates as the girl from Sorrento. It is - like all Lacks work that I have seen - beautifully written and full of sophisticated charm.
