CAAs Art on Demand Art Gallery Tours

Join us for another virtual Art on Demand event brought to you by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in partnership with Alys Beach 30A and Florida Division of Cultural Affairs. Enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes peek at several area art galleries including The Foster Gallery Fusion Art Glass and Fine Jewelry and the Justin Gaffrey Gallery. Learn more about each of these local institutions and the incredible artworks they showcase. Founded in May 2016 The Foster Gallery is an artist collective led by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County that features at least a dozen artists on a seasonally rotating basis along with special exhibits and invitationals throughout the year. Named for the late Susan Foster founder of the Cultural Arts Alliance and one of the areas first professional artists and gallery owners The Foster Gallery also symbolizes the support the CAA strives to provide for artists in our community. The Gallery is open daily from Noon - 7pm and located in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Founded in 1996 by glass artist Russ Gilbert Fusion Art Glass has grown to represent over one hundred and fifty North American artists. Focusing on small independent studios and quality craftsmanship each piece is individually created with excellence in mind. Gallery locations in Seaside and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Justin Gaffrey is an artist who challenges himself in vast mediums. Although his primary body of work is executed in heavy acrylic impastos often 1-6 inches thick. Justin works in his studio outfitted with a full metal and wood working shop creating freestanding sculptural works and sculptural paintings. Justins work is loose and expressive but underplayed with intense study and practice. Justins work can be an emotional landscape of his home in northwest Florida to life size human skeletons exposing a confused and beautiful life.
