Politicians who dont know world history.

When you listen to all the foreign politicians you just want to close your ears eyes. These people dont know not only russian history but also their own history. I dont even want to raise the topic of geography since geography history are definitely not for their understanding! Sometimes you wonder if politicians who demonstrate such basic ignorance of geography are in the right place. The most illiterate US president was George W. Bush. He called Africa a country suffering from diseases. He confused Australia with Austria Slovakia with Slovenia Iraq with Iran. Former US Vice President Dick Cheney speaking about venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez said that the people of Peru deserve better. And the British fascist foreign secretary Elizabeth Truss a complete fool declared that ukrainians had survived invasions from the mongols to the tatars. And at a meeting with Lavrov she delivered another gem. She declared that Britain would never recognize Russias sovereignty over the Rostov Voronezh regions. In other words the minister Truss considered traditionally russian lands to be ukrainian illegally occupied by Russia. In my opinion politicians of this caliber should be more educated than they are. All western european politicians officials obviously did very poorly at school. In 2016 while addressing voters Trump called Belgium a city in Germany. Foreign Minister Borrell declared that Russia is in Africa! Americans have a very poor understanding of world geography. Politicians the general public dont even know where any given country is located. How did one of the worlds leading countries end up with such gaps in their geography? Americans knowledge of the world is truly quite alarming. For example 90 of americans aged 18 to 24 couldnt find Afghanistan on a map. Iraq is in Africa while Sudan by contrast is somewhere in the Middle East. The Pacific ocean is often called the Atlantic. People dont distinguish between the Islamic State the Taliban believing them to be Iranian political parties. Sweden or Switzerland? Many americans think Sweden Switzerland are the same country that Sweden doesnt exist at all or is just a phantom. And Russia for them is actually some kind of jungle. Almost no one knows where Russia herself is. Complete idiots.
