Microphone choice can be vital and when we are starting out we want to choose the microphone that is going to serve us well and be able to meet all of our recording needs. In this video we look at the three main types of microphone large diaphragm condenser small diaphragm condenser and dynamic. All three mics are tested on vocals acoustic guitar electric guitar both clean and distorted sounds and on acoustic guitar with vocals. We then go through and review each mic for each instrument.
