My absolute respect to the team behind the Curiosity mission for Mars for pulling off the landing and continuing to pull off its travels on Mars... in epic fashion. See below for details Most certainly this would rank as arguably the most ambitious landing attempted in interplanetary travel to date. From the heat shield pyro elements the supersonic parachute retros and to the sky crane what a feat of ingenuity. You people rock. Im proud to have watched this live. Nearly cried.
