Grammar Game: Present SimplePast Simple

This game is a real must-play for any age group. All you need is paper and bags or baskets. Plastic bags will also do. The game gives miraculous results! Even the weakest students stop using the first form of the verb in affirmative sentences if they see the signal word YESTERDAY and if the sentence is negative they never forget about did V1! You can change the tenses you want to drill and the number of baskets. For example if you want to revise signal words and verb forms for all simple tenses there will be 3 baskets for all present tenses - 4 baskets etc. Dont for get to show the words on the cards to your students when you take grammar balls out of the basket for counting them. Your students will make sure that there is no cheating and revise the material one more time.
