Masada su bazlı mat koyu meşe rengi kullandım. Rengi daha fazla açmak için boya sürme işleminden sonra iyice zımpara uyguladım. Bu işlem için 400 kum zımpara kullandım. Zımpara işlemi de bittikten sonra su bazlı mat vernik kullandım. Ahşap masanın malzemesi köknar olduğundan gayet hafif bir masa oldu. Zaten amacım masanın ağır olmaması ve boyadan sonra desenlerin çok belirgin olmasıydı. Köknar yumuşak bir ağaç. Hafif bir ürün yapmak için ideal.
