Edit 6.2017: Von den gezeigten Gebäuden, einschließlich des Torbogens mit dem Reichsadler steht heute keines mehr. Wie Hillersleben bis 1995 aussah wird hier gezeigt: Reste der traditionsreichen Kaserne Hillersleben bis 2016. Erbaut um 1930 herum, einst Waffenerprobungszentrum der Wehrmacht, später durch die Sowjetunion zu "Klein Moskau" ausgebaut und Sitz des 47. MOT Regiments, jetzt im Besitz der Bundeswehr. Das Betreten des Geländes ist weiter hinten streng verboten jedoch kann eine Erlaubnis beantragt werden. Passanten wiesen uns darauf hin, dass regelmässig "Interessierte" von der Polizei abgeholt würden. I have never felt so sorry for the people that lived inside of this abandoned home. I almost started crying when I was telling there story. I wish there was a way for us to help these people in these difficult times. And we hope the owner of this place reaches out to us so we can meet him in person. Pośród malownicznych pól i sadów znajduje się opuszczona kaplica grobowa, która została wybudowana w 1830 roku w stylu klasycystycznym. Jeszcze w latach 80-tych XX wieku odbywały się tu nabożeństwa. Some history: Beelitz-Heilstätten , a district of the town, is home to a large hospital complex of about 60 buildings including a cogeneration plant erected from 1898 on according to plans of architect Heino Schmieden. Originally designed as a sanatorium by the Berlin workers' health insurance corporation, the complex from the beginning of World War I on was a military hospital of the Imperial German Army. During October and November 1916, Adolf Hitler recuperated at Beelitz-Heilstätten after being wounded in the leg at the Battle of the Somme.
