In this video I demonstrate how to correctly prune Hydrangea paniculata or Panicle style Hydrangea. Some of my favorite cultivars of Hydrangea paniculata that are pertinent to this video include Limelight Hydrangea, Pinky Winky, Berry White, and Little Quick Fire. Before pruning your Hydrangea, ensure that you are indeed growing the panicle type, because other types of Hydrangea require different styles of pruning. PRUNING THE ICEBERG CLIMBING ROSE!

My iceberg rose was only blooming on the top of the canes. After lots of research I’ve learned to train the main canes, which come from the bottom of the plant out of the soil , horizontally and the lateral canes which grow out of the main canes are the lateral canes which the blooms come from on the branch . Therefore look at your plant decide how you want the blooms to grow . I want my blooms mainly on the left grown around the black fence. As you watched you noticed how i chose the main canes making sure to remove dead, diseased,damaged and crossing. Always wear protective gloves with the roses with thorns!!! Hello viewers! Thank you for joining us on our next adventure in the Garden of Weedin! Today, we are going to be pruning back an ‘Annabelle’ hydrangea. These panicle type shrubs need to be pruned each year before they bloom to encourage flowering. The other more traditional hydragnea varieties need to be pruned after they bloom. Panicle hydrangeas are a versatile plant that can be used as either a fresh cut flower or dried flower. They are sometimes trained into an upright tree standard. The huge, white flowers create a cloudlike appearance in the garden. One Annabelle virtue is that if the deer eat it in the winter, it will still send up new shoots in the spring. Happy gardening! Hi Everyone! In this video we are working on a few Ficus Bonsai Trees. I'll be showing you methods of approaching these trees through pruning, shaping and repotting in order to develop them into great Bonsai. The methods in which I prune/shape, wire and repot these trees are pretty straightforward so any beginner to Bonsai should be able to follow along! Seen in a previous video, the clump style we created from ficus cuttings has now fused at the base which means we can upsize the pot and wire the clump so that the trunks fan outwards. We then work on a ficus ginseng which is a common houseplant Bonsai. The branches are pruned so that they develop with good taper.
