GAC GS4 вышел на российский рынок в своей переднеприводной версии в конце прошлого года, а сейчас компания запустила продажи полноприводной версии кроссовера, неофициально именуемого "китайским RAV4". Автомобиль с полным приводом получил силовой агрегат от страшего кроссовера GAC GS8: под капотом установлен 2,0-литровый турбированный бензиновый двигатель отдачей в 231 л. с. и 380 Нм, в сочетании с классическим 8-ступенчатым автоматом Aisin.
