Inflation may be out of control, but our houseplants are becoming cheaper. A year + ago some of these rare houseplants were SO EXPENSIVE. But, lately I've noticed the prices for certain plants have gone down - dramatically. There could be several reasons why these plant prices dropping. One being that these plants aren't in such high demand anymore. When rare houseplants become "trendy" a lot of retailers and growers will mass grow these plants - but trends die. This leaves the sellers with more inventory of a certain plant than they'd like to have and drop prices. Which is great for someone like me who tries to stick with a certain plant budget. Houseplant Ivy Care

Hedera helix or the English Ivy is a wonderful and sturdy houseplant that is easy to grow for most people. They look best with medium to bright indirect or direct light. Ivy provides a lush and clean feel for the interior of the home and will last for years. Growing Ivy in the home is a little different than outdoors, particularly with lighting and pest. Spider mites can be a problem but all you have to do is take the plant to the sink or shower and blast them clean weekly until they are gone and use horticultural oils in between. Cebu Blue Pothos! Epipremnum Pinnatum | New Houseplants

The Epipremnum pinnatum aka the Cebu blue pothos is a wonderful and easy to grow houseplant. This pothos, like the golden pothos ( epipremnum aureum - Marble queen pothos and neon pothos and manjula pothos ) likes a well-drained and organically rich potting soil that holds onto some moisture for a few days but doesn't remain soggy. The cebu blue pothos varies from the golden pothos in that it seems to like a little bit more light, but that could just be my experience as the lighting requirements for the cebu blue pothos are a bit jumbled online. Right now this a somewhat rare houseplant but that will be changing soon. I think these will be more and more common in stores like walmart, lowes and home depot by summer or fall of 2019 with the...
