On February 28th during the 17th Mediterranean Dive Show held in Cornellà, Barcelona, Aleix Segura Vendrell has broken the Guinness World Record holding his breath underwater for 24 minutes and 3 seconds. This longest breath hold ever reported has been achieved after inhaling pure oxygen, differently than apnea sport competitions. Aleix Segura is currently the static apnea world champion in all freediving circuits capable of holding his breath for over ten minutes in normal conditions and has taken the risk of this stunt challenge with the support of the qualified IEM medical crew supervised by Dr. Agustí Ruíz and monitored among others by three AIDA judges including Oriol Navarro, apnea responsible in the club Cavalldemar, to control and... English subtitles are availible, special thanks to millionendollarboy: The following records were broken on March the 22nd: * Most disc cases toppled in a domino fashion - 10,266 disc cases * Largest stick bomb - 40,910 sticks * Longest domino wall - 40.14 m / 131.69 feet long A team of 22 (see below "builders") built this gaint chain reaction in only 4 days. GWR no.6 - Most Side Jump Push Ups w/Claps in 1 minute (45) I have been training for this one for the last couple of months. My original record for the most side jump push ups (without claps) in 1 minute of course helped massively for this record. I had to beat 34 to obtain the @guinnessworldrecords title and I managed to get 45. There is certainly room for improvement and I will be attempting to beat my own record (unless is beaten beforehand - in which case I will be trying to beat someone else’s record) on Saturday 20th August at @ten.fitness.10 All are welcome to attend as will be a charity fundraising event for @bedfordhospitalcharity & in particular cancer research.
