Build a post and beam greenhouse. Pour a concrete foundation for a post and beam cedar and fir greenhouse. Excavate a site in the garden, add perforated drainage pipe, pack crushed gravel and set wood concrete forms in place. In this the first part of the post and beam greenhouse build I will cover step-by-step what I did to make a long lasting reinforced concrete foundation to set my posts and walls on. I build the forms from standard framing lumber and staked them in place. The forms contain rebar that's hung from tying wire and there's also wall anchor bolts suspended in place.
