GORGEOUS Seahorse Painting Using A Micro Swipe Technique!!

Hey there painting friends, raise your hand if you love the ocean as much as I do! I’m a scuba diver as well as a painter, so naturally I love bringing ocean creatures into my paintings when possible. This painting was inspired by a photo I found online with no artist credit (I have since discovered that the original artist was Danny Young) - I couldn’t find a video or any details so I had to figure it out myself! I went for a 12x24” canvas so I could really shape it properly. A “Micro Swipe” is similar to a ghost swipe technique, but it uses silicone oil to create cells.
