Light your fire using one of the fire lighting methods we describe in Video 3: (https://youtu.be/XmIrrwE2QQ0), adding unlit fuel to top the charcoal basket up & open all the vents in the base of the smoker. Give the fire 10 minutes or so to catch. 2. Tightly foil over an empty waterpan, or see Video 12 for options on dry baffles and place it in a stacker over the fire. You can add a second stacker & grill if needed and then the lid with the vent open. 3. After 10 minutes, check the temperature on the lid gauge. You’re aiming for between 350-400°F/180-200°C. To bring the temperature down, close the vents in the base slightly, try a quarter closed, then a half if needed. Roasting on a BBQ is a fantastic way to cook anything you’d normally cook indoors. It makes the text look more alive and realistic. And it's simple to do in DaVinci Resolve. The basics are this: Put your video on Track 1. Create a copy and put it ABOVE the same clip on Track 3. Put your Text between the clips on Track 2. Select the clip on Track 3 - go to the Color page. Select Power Window and the Pen tool - draw a mask around the object. Create an Alpha Output and connect the blue node to it. That's it! Then you can create the animation for the text using keyframes or even transitions. This is the simple, easy method. So this is NOT for objects that are moving a lot. For objects that are moving, you would probably have a better time doing the masking in Fusion and animating the mask.
