Before I can start using it I needed a new table for it. I also need a welding table, and a trolley for my welder. It is of course impossible to find off the shelf solutions that fits perfectly, and I want to utilize my space as optimal as possible, so I built everything myself (as usual). I did buy all the materials from Biltema, it's a Swedish chain of retail store you find in Scandinavia. Here is the material I have used for the tables: * Metal Sheet 1000x5000x2.0 https://www.biltema.no/en-no/car---mc/car-spares/body/sheet-metal/metal-sheet-1000-x-500-x-20-mm-2000050454 * Steel tube 40x40x1.5 https://www.biltema.no/en-no/construction/hardware-fittings/stalror/steel-tubing-40-x-40-mm-2000050443 * Steel tube 25x25x1.5 https://www.biltema.no/en-no/construction/hardware-fittings/stalror/steel-tubing-25-x-25-mm-2000050442 The 40x40mm steel tubes was used for the legs and for the top frame, the 25x25mm tubes for supporting the shelfs. All of these have 1.5mm wall thickness. I find it difficult to weld with a MIG welder any thinner steel than 1.5mm. The sheet metal on top and for the shelfs are 2mm thick. It is more than enough for the shelves as I do not plan to put very heave stuff on them. However, it's not very sturdy for the top where I am going to put the bench drill (It's quite heavy). I added a couple of the 25x25mm pipes across the top (under the top metal sheet) to support the table top where the bench drill is resting.
