In this episode, Jun and William are on their mission to fish the abandoned river in Penang Island Malaysia in search of Tarpon & Ladyfish or Barramundi. The abandoned river used to be filled with amazing game fish species such as Mangrove Jack, Barramundi, GT, Threadfin Salmon, Grunter, Tarpon, Ladyfish, Milkfish and so much more. However, Malaysia as a country lack the law to protect fish population, and most anglers do not practice catch and release, most will bring their catch home regardless of fish size. That results in the reducing numbers of fish populations throughout the entire Peninsular Malaysia, regardless it is fresh or saltwater fishing.
