I was able to splice it into the CD player's audio circuit. This requires that a blank audio CD be playing in order for the stereo to monitor the CD Player circuit, and thus hear what you're connecting to the aux jack. Using this method, the CD player still functions fine if you want to play normal CD's. This method may not necessarily work for all Chevy Aveos, much less for other types of vehicles. But, if your vehicle has a similar wiring structure for the CD Player, this concept may very well work for other vehicle models. DISCLAIMER: Performing this procedure has the following potential consequences: -- Irreparable damage to your vehicle's stereo -- Irreparable damage to your vehicle's other components (dashboard, electrical systems, etc.) -- Irreparable damage to your iPod, iPhone, or other MP3 player that is being connected to the aux jack -- Voiding of vehicle's warranty and/or stereo's warranty -- Personal Injury or death (3rd degree burns, electrocution, or lacerations) ** I'm NOT responsible for your screw-ups.
