What you should know before watching this walkthrough: - This is played on Legendary difficulty from start to finish - I have no class preference, I will simply use tactics best suited for different situations and scenarios. After reading some viewer comments I realised I had got carried away classifying the game as Great (I was coming from the position of trying lots of the mods from nexus mods including the one that made the game look really really ugly and considering the game unplayable still). I have adjusted the title to say playable - and I do stand by that - I played the game for several more hours after this video in all kinds of scenarios and had a cracking time. ] In this video I show the latest steam beta version of Starfield running on my Steam Deck OLED with FSR3 frame generation turned on. For this to work, you need to opt in to the beta version, and set your proton compatibility to proton experimental, I show you how to do both. I have none of the addons that were previously used to squeeze out performance on the deck (which also seemed to tank the image quality) but been having a blast playing the game. (I boarded my first ship and killed the pirates, which was an awesome moment). I've been quite vocal on my dislike for the game, but did find my last play session fun, so will be continuing There are dips in places - first entering Akila for example, but running around Jameson and engaging in space combat, and combat in ships was all really playable. I was beginning to despair that FSR3 frame gen wouldn't even be possible on the steam deck, but this has given me fresh hope :)Hey you, we are so excited to share our wedding day with you.
