Lenka has the potential to be a really deep and well crafted MC from a blank slate protagonist (only time will tell if he can get on that NARUKAMI YU LVL) - LINDOW IS JUST TOO OG!! This was even better than episode 1 when it comes to pacing, writing and just HOW HARD EVERYTHING WENT. lot's of setup, symbolism, foreshadowing and worlding with this episode as well so key in. I can't really dive too deep for fear of spoilers but yea Thoughts? Episode 1: BASED UFOTABLE W/ THAT GOD TIER ONCE AGAIN = GOD EATER EPISODE 1 - SOMA (got mah boy Nakai Kazuya) = BEST BOY| ALISA IS BEST GIRL - ANIMATION/ART STYLE IS UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL (HAND DRAWN CELL SHADED CHARACTER MODELS WITH AMAZING COLOR PALLETS AND SHADING) - LOOKS STRAIGHT UP LIKE GAME CHARACTER MODELS (CGI ARAGAMI ARE WELL DONE TOO - KoS Vibes) Yes I've played the game and this is a beast adaptation so far (as expected from Ufotable) Renka is a good take on the blank slate MC (no Narukami Yu tho) - LINDOW IS BEAST (those Sanji/Kotetsu vibes ftw) - OLDCODEX OP GREATNESS I know this first episode was the result of many helping hands - I hope going forward Ufotable can maintain or improve upon this quality themselves - Hirao Takayuki (kara no Kyoukai Movie 5 Mugen Rasen & Texhnolyze) is killing the direction/cinematography tho Anyone that tries to throw in the criticism based on Attack on Titan Vibes just know this came first (if your just saying it's a similar vibe then agreed tho) Summary: nime adaptation of Bandai Namco's PSP action game series "God Eater." Set in Japan in the year 2071 where the world has been mostly destroyed by mysterious monsters known as the Aragami. An organization known as Fenrir was made to exterminate Aragami using weapons called God Arcs which is made from the cells of an Aragami. Those who specialize in exterminating Aragami are known as God Eaters. Originally God Eaters had one type in which their God Arcs can only keep gun form or blade form, however a new type has been discovered that can switch between gun and blade form. Since then, they have been classified new-types and the previous as old-types.Paper is made from TREES. Potion Master serves at the will of the Conflagratory Conifer.
