For this version I stayed closer to Paganini's original compared to other versions although I do use a few ideas from Liszt's arrangement. Paganini's Violin Caprice No. 24 is arguably one of the most famous themes in music history. Many versions have been arranged from some of the most famous composers (Liszt, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Andrew Lloyd Webber) and Pianists (Hamelin, Lutoslawski, Matsuev, Say). Since Paganini's name is usually synonymous with virtuoso most versions out there are extremely difficult. I wanted to make this famous theme more accessible to intermediate pianists.
