This particular lesson covers the basics of violin music note reading by covering the basic elements of theory that apply to reading music. Violin music notes are located on the music staff and are place on a particular place on the lines that tell you exactly what note you should be playing. Each spot on the line corresponds to a particular letter name A-G, and above the lines we include the string you should be playing on and finger number to help you. This is a great video for learning how to read violin notes This particular violin lesson covers the basics of violin theory, and we show you not just how to read music for violin, but also this applies to other instruments that are in the treble clef. Violin music reading can help you play just about any song that has sheet music, and this lesson will give you a head start to being able to play all sorts of violin music out there. There are many violin notes that you can play, so start off with the basics of reading notes on the D and A strings. Once you feel comfortable with this, then you can eventually learn notes on the other 2 strings. I recommend using flash cards to help you memorize the violin note placements, and also study the other elements of music that are included in this video.
