The chord melody arrangement is meant to be played with a rhythm section. It has some easy parts and some difficult ones, adapt it to suit you and make it your own. There is an octave head for this beautiful melody with a smooth, easy feel. The fingerstyle arrangement is played with common jazz chords and includes the string intro and ending from Ray's recording.This is Alyssa Karena a violin that I built and varnished. The playing is not all that great but it sounds fairly well anyhow. It was made with European Tonewood on a Stradivari style. It has a Wittner composite tailpiece and Spirocore strings. An Italian violinist, composer and theorist. At his father's wish he studied for the priesthood. Tartini took refuge in a monastery at Assisi, where he practiced violin and studied music theory. Here he wrote the Trillo del diavolo (Devil's Trill), an attempt to reconstruct a sonata he said the devil had played to him in a dream. In 1714 he discovered the "resultant" tone, a means for improving intonation. While this tone cannot be heard on a modern violin, it is clearly audible on an old one with its smaller bass-bar and other fittings.
