Although rarely heard, it is said by baroque specialists to be of high quality. Opera Tisbe clearly display touches of the Vivaldi and Albinoni while it also looks ahead to Hasse. The piece of Utrecht (1713) brought political stability of the region but the high cost of the war continued to impact on music at the German court for some time, thus impacting Tisbe opera production. It is known that there is no firm evidence that Brescianello was successful in receiving permission to stage his opera. However, there is evidence that such a opera production was shown in proposal for Ducal theater about necessary costumes and appendages. It was shown date as 26 Jan 1718 where Brescianello signed himself as musical director. Rehearsals for an operatic work are known to have taken place in Ducal theatre during winter of 1718-19. For the role of "Tisbe" Brescianello was preparing Italian castrato Pietro F. Massei who sang his part in several rehearsals. Massei, spent five months at the court performing regularly for chamber music sessions, waiting to start singing his role in "La Tisbe". Brescianello would require three additional vocalist for the total of four main singers (Tisbe, Piramo, Licori, Alceste) and violoncellist and he was desperately trying to find more funding. He visited the Palatine Elector in Aug 1719 who had "great passion for music" but the idea was rejected because of the high cost of hiring extra musicians and the opera was never staged. Castrato Massei left the court disappointed without any compensation for time spent rehearsing. Brescianello life at the court: Giuseppe Antonio Brescianello (c.1690 -1758), born in Bologna, was one of the many Italian musicians who established themselves during the 18th century in the service of the German courts. He built his reputation more on performing and conducting than composing. Although he was a native of Florence, born in Bologna, it was in Venice (while he studied composition) that came to the attention of the Elector of Bavaria, Max Emanuel who thereupon engaged him in 1715 as a viola player and brought him to Munich. In October 1716 Brescianello became Kammer-und-Concert Meister at the Württemberg court of Duke Eberhard Ludwig in Stuttgart. In 1731 he became First Kapellmeister and he was successfully in charge of a large court orchestra that on occasion numbered more than sixty musicians. Following the death of the sovereign Karl Alexander in 1737, the court finances were so catastrophically reduced that the orchestra was reduced to just a few musicians and Brescianello lost his post. When the new Duke Carl Eugen assumed the throne in 1744, court opera was brought back and Brescianello was reappointed as Oberkapellmeister. He led the court and opera music for the rest of his career at the Württemberg court. He was pensioned off in the period between 1751 and 1755. His successors were Ignaz Holzbauer and then Niccolò Jommelli. He remained in Stuttgart, where he died in 1758. Rather, it is blog musician who plays every day three or four hours of music and something leaves on memory. As is, without cuts. Yes, the sound is poor. But this is more a documentary video. ) Every day I write one piece of those that have been played. It's different music, from Baroque to popular, from Bach to Piano Guys. So this is lively and topical report from the violinist at the sea) *** Этот подкаст вряд ли стоит рассматривать как серьезный проект. Piano Guys.
