With the lack of Steinberg's Cubase VST I had on my old Win 98, I stopped listening to MIDIs and focused more on tracker and Genesis VGZ files. I was like "Hm, sounds good" (even I know it has to sound good, else it wouldn't be on my disk). Eventually, this MID was converted to a MUS, wrapped into a WAD file and it ran for like 25 minutes in the background. Totally satisfied with the sound, this ends up on Youtube now. I have to admit, the refrain has some weird notes, but so does the original song. Not suitable for pure listening, more for background music, it really fits the eerie OPL sounds. You gotta love that mouse cursor, too! He's on that twitching corpses throat, just like it's tickling that poor guy eternally who can't defend himself. *coochie coochie coo!* This brings the meaning of that scene to a new level. Is this the guy's personal hell? Being tickled forever? I found that so hilarious I let it that way, without re-recording those 5 seconds of looping ingame footage.
