Choose the size of the card based on your preference. Design the three desert flowers: Begin by sketching the shapes and sizes of the three flowers on the front of the card using a pencil. Research desert flowers for inspiration and choose species that are known for their vibrant colors and resilience in arid conditions. Create the quilled flower petals: Take a quilling strip in the color of your choice and roll it tightly using the quilling tool. Once you reach the end, release the rolled strip slightly to form a loose coil. Apply a small amount of glue to the end of the strip to secure it. Repeat this process to create multiple petals for each flower. Shape the petals: Gently pinch one side of each petal to create a teardrop shape. This will give the petals a natural curve and dimension, replicating the organic appearance of real flowers. Assemble the flowers: Arrange the quilled petals on the card according to your sketch. Apply small dots of glue to the base of each petal and press them onto the card to secure them in place. Layer the petals to create full and visually striking flowers. Repeat this step to create three flowers. Create quilled leaves: Take green quilling strips and roll them tightly using the quilling tool.
