Aggiungete le uova, lo zucchero e l’estratto di vaniglia e continuate a lavorare la frolla fino ad ottenere un panetto morbido ed omogeneo. Avvolgetelo in un foglio di pellicola e riponetelo in friforifero per 30 minuti. Riprendete il panetto e dividetelo in 4 parti uguali, lavorandoli formando delle palline. Stendete 3 panetti formando dei dischi di spessore circa mezzo centimetro. Rivestite uno stampo con carta forno e adagiate il primo disco di pasta frolla sul fondo e sul bordo dello stampo per almeno 2 cm. Ritagliate la frolla in eccesso sul bordo con un coltello. Spalmate la confettura di albicocche, poi procedete alternando uno strato di frolla e uno di confettura, per un totale di 3 strati di confettura e 4 strati di frolla. Con i ritagli di pasta frolla formate delle losanghe e dei biscottini con un tagliabiscotti. Decorate in superficie la crostata con trecce e biscottini, spennellando leggermente la frolla con un po’ di acqua per fare in modo che si attacchino.
