Ngoni ba è una band del Mali costituita da Bassekou Kouyate, virtuoso del ngoni (cordofono tradizionale che egli ha modificato ed elettrificato), sua moglie Amy Sacko, un'eccezionale voce solista, e altri cinque giovani componenti, fra cui due loro figli. Per far capire la statura dell'artista, basti ricordare che ha collaborato con artisti di fama internazionale come Youssou N'Dour, Carlo Santana, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bono e tanti altri, e che può fregiarsi del titolo di "ambasciatore del ngoni", confermato da un Grammy Award. Le trascinanti sonorità dei liuti e delle percussioni, unite alla notevole carica di energia dei musicisti, hanno dispensato emozioni fortissime ad entrambe le categorie del pubblico presente: quello seduto e quello danzante.
