This channel provides a unique perspective on cooler dense plumes of plasma, such as filaments and prominences, which can't be seen in other channels or appear as dark lines. Bright areas in the video indicate locations with high-density plasma. The AIA 0304 filter operates at a wavelength of 304 angstroms in the extreme ultraviolet range and captures the presence of singly ionized helium (He II) ions. The video covers the time period of 1.1.2023 - 21.3.2023 and showcases the characteristic temperature of the Sun's upper chromosphere and lower transition region at 50,000 K (90,000 F).
