With the factory roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our crossbars. Here at the front we'll bring our U-bolts around the underside of our front crossbar, feeding them up through our front platform. We'll secure it by tightening down 2 wing nuts for the U-bolt. Once we have that tight, we can repeat this process for the other side of the front platform. Here at the rear we'll drop our U-bolt through the top of the bike rack, making sure that the bolts go around the rear crossbar. We'll place the bolts through our black metal plate and secure it by tightening down 2 wing nuts. We'll go ahead and undo our rear wheel strap and make sure our skewer at the front is loose. We'll grab our bike and place it onto the bike rack, securing it first by tightening our skewer. Then we'll move to the rear and tighten with a wheel strap. Just like that, our bike's loaded up and we're ready to go.
