As system disk am using a Samsung 250GB 840 EVO and the stock HDD 500GB as a data disk. I already upgraded the ram from 2GB to 8GB which is maxed out as is. The HDD 500GB will be replaced by a 1TB SSD in the near future but for now this will do just fine. Yes. I use my MBP mostly for photography and video editing though video editing takes a bit longer than the retina its still very doable:-) I run multiple software programs without a hitch. - Lightroom - Photoshop - Final Cut Pro X And the usual administrative work as well as for private use it works just fine. So if you in the market for a decent Macbook Pro and be able to work just about anywhere?
