Man.. is this SSD slow. I can't believe Asus would build a netbook with this crappy ssd. I can't blame them though... the netbook at the time only cost $165. If you decide to replace your SSD on your aging netbook, that's a great idea. My netbook feels like a whole new SSD. Please note, this netbook can support either IDE/Pata or SATA ssd's. Unlike the Dell mini's which I think older versions only support IDE/Pata. I replaced my SSD with a $40 16gb (so expensive) Xtreamer Ultra mini PCI-e card which runs on sata protocol. The actual ssd is a Super Talent FPM16GLSE. I e-mailed the seller but he never got back to me.
