Hey, this is my first video of my photobooth. What I am using: - Sony Nex 6 with 16-50mm Lens - DC Adapter for permament power - Raspberry Pi (of course with SD card) - Tripod (not really necessary but helpful) - TV with HDMI port - HDMI cable - Mouse or keyboard - USB stick to connect with WLAN How I did it? 1. Connect Raspberry Pi to canera (with remote control app of the camera) 2. Use python to control the camera via the Sony API (basically just post/get requests) 3. Use python to put images together und display them (most of it done with pygame and pil lib) How it works: 1. Start python-Script 2. Press three buttons to define them (either on a connected keyboard or mouse) Button 1: Take new photo (or to be more accurate: take four photos and combine them Button 2: Go to next picture (when currently no photo is taken the raspberry pi dispalys the existing photobooth results. Every 3 seconds a new one. When you press the button it goes directly to the next result.) Button 3: Not used yet. (Only to stop the script. You need to click a special combination of buttons at a certain moment, to stop the python script. (You can see it at the end of the video.)
