With special "micro-lines" on the surface, PET Crystal avoids 93% ambient light. Unlike traditional projection screen, it provides a huge, absolutely stunning and very "TV-like" image, even in a well-lit room. Not the most portable of all point of shoot cameras but the looks make up for it. I forgot to mention something in the review, the L820 has a two step shutter system. The first half of the shutter button is to focus the camera, the next push it to take the actual picture. The square in the camera turns green if the camera is focused and the box turns red if it is out of focus. Overall, pictures look great, but if you are wanting to take professional taking pictures without spending hours of editing, this camera is for you.
