The fuse rating is "generally" (watts/volts) x 1.25, example: lets say 1500 watts normal run usage, so 1500 divided by the volts (12v dc in my case) is 125, now x1.25 = 156.25 , I Personally just use a 10:1 rule of thumb ratio so 100 watt 1 amp fuse etc.. so 3000 watt load on my peak is 300 amp, give or take a few. i tested it with a 150 on a 1500watt load and the moment it went over 1500 watts the fuse popped, so it calculates close enough for me. but for those that need official charts, scroll down below the links. here is some science and data.. The fuse size should be based upon the amperage draw of whatever you are running, not the watt rating of the inverter SIZE YOUR FUSES ACCORDINGLY!
