Same owner the last 24 years. Restored in and out, top to bottom. Big block power, custom paint and a comfortable interior. California built car, dry metal. EXTERIOR: Show quality 3 tone custom paint with blue pinstripe. Exceptionally clean body, the panels all fit square and flush. Doors shut real nice. Virtually rust free, there is one bubble at the bottom of the door. Not bad for 15 year old paint, looks like it was done yesterday. Otherwise clean dry metal. The metal flake is laid out evenlu, the clear coat is polished like glass. The tri-tone paint continues right into the jambs. The jambs are slick. The bumpers fit the body beautifully. Upfront the grill looks like it's been replaced, very shiny but does have one rock dent. The bumper and emblems were replaced. The emblems, bowtie mirror were replaced. It has the cross flag 396 emblems on the fenders. In back the rear bumper and emblems were replaced. New weather strips and windshield. It has a vintage lock on the hood on 3 small holes in the trunk lid from the original dealers emblem. Has 20 inch polished Torque Thrust wheels with performance tires. The custom paint and wheels really make this stand out. INTERIOR: Exceptionally nice inside. As I'm sitting in here looking around it is really spotless. The seats still have firm cushions. The upholstery and matching door panels are excellent. All of the trim is nice, headliner is nice and tight, visors are mint, seat belts are clean, the rear mesh speaker tray is excellent. The whole instrument panel- bezels, lenses, knobs, heater control panel is really nice. New carpet. It has a stereo, cd changer stuffed in the glovebox and 6x9 speakers in back. Also has a small gauge cluster below the dash. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin # matched 396. We also checked casting codes and dates. Only 1,000 miles on rebuilt motor. Dyno tested- 350 hp at the rear wheel according to the owner. Upgraded cam, Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb. Runs cool with a big polished aluminum radiator and a flex fan. The motor compartment is exceptionally clean. All the metal is nice and smooth, painted satin black. All the components look clean and proper. New chrome Chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner.
