The Ford Edge 2012 through 2014 2.0 Ecoboost is a project between Ford and Mazda using the Mazda L engine. Ford designed a new head with Ti-VCT and timing along with Direct Injection. The 2012 through 2014 are the only years this MAZDA L was used and has nothing similar to the 2015 2.0 ecoboost engine. The borgwarner turbos are different. The manifolds are different. The list is long on how different they are and also the power and torque.
