We all know that Drill Through Button is a very interesting feature provided by Power BI Desktop. In my earlier sessions, we have discussed how to create a Drill Through Button in Power BI. I have taken the same example, and extend the report. Sometimes there is a possibility that our Power BI report contains multiple Drill Through Pages and we need to redirect the user to a specific destination using Drill Through button. At that time this concept is very useful to us. During this demo, I have developed two different Drill Through Pages. I provided Drill Through Pages name as a Destination dropdown and when the user selects any value for the destination page, they will be redirected to the target page. I have explained the entire process step by step in detail to dynamically set a destination for Drill Through. In this session as a bonus item, I have also explained one specific scenario. Let’s say in your Power BI report you may have multiple drills through pages and as an end-user you selected specific parameters from the report page and selected wrong page destination which doesn’t support that drill through parameter what would happen? Support for SharePoint list image columns for both read and write scenarios are available now. Previously we only supported reading images.  But, you can now create a Power App to read, create, update and delete SharePoint column images directly in a Power App.  You can also choose to get either the full version of the image or various thumbnail sizes:  Small, Medium, and Large.  Use specific thumbnail sizes for optimal performance. Until I understood the motivation behind a function like CALCULATE(), I did not fully comprehend the power of Power BI and DAX. Everything started making sense after I really understood what kinds of questions we can answer from the data by combining CALCULATE() with various Date and Time intelligence functions. I normally try to cap my videos to 10 minutes but I felt showing several examples of this concept was worth the effort.
