Supposedly it can monitor your blood oxygen level too but I haven’t tested that feature. This is also where you charge your watch Pairing the watch to the iPhone is a breeze in conjunction with the watch app you are forced to get on the apple device I suggest trying on the apple watch at your local Apple store before you decide to order online. There are a variety of colors and two sizes you can choose from as I mentioned before. Me I preferred the 42 because the 32 is just way too small for my wrist. I actually thought the 42 would be too small but overtime I adjusted nicely to the devices size in comparison to my giant fingers Interface is a little confusing but after a day or two of playing with the device you pretty much become one with the watch. If you don’t read the directions you find yourself discovering new features. Which is always a pleasant surprise. For a quick overview Standard features include swiping down for notifications or swiping up to see your heart rate, calendar, locations, amongst other things. You can even control your music from this area. Now for the Apple Watch Fitness review Now this is great fitness Tracker. Its not as bulky as my throw back Garmin or as slim and convenient as my nike sports band but it’s just right for me to give me the best of both worlds. The only con for the tracker is that I have to bring my cell phone with me in order to track my pace, time and distance. Which is not a problem because most people have there phone attached to their hip. Another con for me is the sleep tracker. Believe it or not I have horrible sleeping patterns and I recognize that, but it be kinda cool to get a diagnostic on it every morning. I know a few fitbit users who utilize that feature and I kinda feel left out at times. Now apple does have the capability but the battery wouldn’t last through the night if you use it in the day like I do. The watch is pretty durable when you working out. It doesn’t scratch easily and I’ve run into things from walls to weights bumping it on doors and such and it came out clean Being that its a little more pricey, you tend to manage your wrist wear more carefully too If you are a sweater like me, the watch is water resistant, so you don’t have to worry about being damaged from water. That doesn’t mean go swimming in it though. Now the exercise app have green running man located on the home apps screen. You have a plethora of different workouts to choose from outdoor-indoor running to stair stepper and other exercises. Once you choose a category for instance outdoor walk you can set goals like distance, time you want to spend running or even the amount of calories you would like to burn Now I have noticed that while lifting weights the heart rate monitor isn’t as accurate as it would be if I was running. At one point my heart rate was 46 bpm after benching little over 300 lbs. That is usually my resting heart rate. Now either I went into Super Sayain Mode which I doubt or apple have some bugs to work out with that issue. There are chest straps you can purchase to alleviate this issue but it’s not worth it for me when I’m lifting weights plus I hate wearing chest straps. Feels like have a bra on…not that I wear bras or anything but if I did, I’m sure that is how it would feel. Activity App Is pretty cool It has 3 categories Move Exercise Stand And they are all color coded to make life a little simpler when running the diagnostic of your daily goals You can track this data via apple watch or get better detail on the actual app on your phone. This breaks down the work you put in for the day week month and year. This works well in keeping you on track towards your fitness goals.
