We can consult a solubility table to check and determine if Fe3(PO4)2 will dissolve in water. There are also a set of general rules to help remember which compounds are soluble, insoluble, or partially soluble. When we check the solubility table, we see that Fe3(PO4)2 is insoluble. Essentially you end up with wet Fe3(PO4)2 when you mix Fe3(PO4)2 with water. Iron (II) phosphate doesn’t dissolve or react with the water. Note that a miniscule amount may dissolve but this is small enough that we can ignore it and say that Fe3(PO4)2 is insoluble in water. Knowing the solubility rules can help you determine whether Fe3(PO4)2 will dissolve in water and dissociate into ions (see https://youtu.be/zffVKN6tm7k).
