The main building, especially on the north end has taken almost it’s final shape as well! In this video, we look at the Tesla property outline map and the main areas of construction to re-orient the viewer on where everything is located. We also look at several of the key areas featured in the video (although not all of them), and provide some additional information via narration, answering some recent viewer questions. Finally, I mention the on-going Inspiration 4 mission, the first all private citizen Space mission in orbit (and at an altitude few have ever reached in history! I ask that you think of and send positive energy to the crew of Inspiration 4 as their mission in orbit continues for another two days and for a safe return this weekend! Timestamps: Drone flight overview with discussion & illustration: 0:06 to 3:33 Drone flight footage & infographics: 3:57 to 24:32 Here are the highlights from today's video: - The west side wall panels have just about reached the southwest angled corner, and the south perimeter grade beam is nearing completion, as are all floor concrete pours. The huge glass panels on the west side continue to be installed, now about 20 are up on the building and it looks like we need a new shipment to continue. - There are big developments in central area, with the north part getting fill dirt in the pit floor around the completed footings, and the rest of the column footings seem to be completely filled and formed with concrete in the widest part of the excavation pit. More footings along the east shoulder as well as a utility trench. - On the west side of the central area next to the General Assembly structure, several viewers asked about what appeared to be footings being jackhammered out. I think what viewers saw was temporary concrete caps being removed that protected the rebar that was installed months ago and sheathed with white pipe segments for later use. - At the casting structure, we see a lot of progress with the casting foundations having had concrete poured this morning and more parts arrived yesterday to continue assembly of Giga Press #3, which is now about halfway assembled! The "bridge" roof between the casting and paint structures is almost completed as well as the steel structure in this area. - The battery cell structure shows a great deal of interior work completed, and more in progress. Window installation on the west side is nearly completed to the angled corner, and work on the roof HVAC openings is nearly completed as well. - The roof between the paint and battery cell areas is also completed as well, with most of the decking installed. The steel work and the floor decking are fully installed, so we should see rebar and then concrete for upper floors soon as well as the installation of the bridge crane and ground slab. - on the west side of the General Assembly structure, we see many Tesla employees’ cars parked and more arriving for the morning shift … these employees are busy inside preparing equipment, facilities, training and test car parts related to increasing pre-production readiness and (hopefully), starting initial small-scale production sometime next month! - Along the east side of the Body-in-White structure shows continued work to prepare for paving and concrete driveways & loading areas. On the north end near the casting structure, concrete has already been poured in one section and more forms and rebar areas are in progress. Познакомился с гидроизоляцией на цементной основе, занятная удобная вещь, а главное работает! Хотя изначально были сомнения по поводу такой гидроизоляции.
