Managing your data inside the Business Central database is very important. You need your database to keep small to improve the performance. But also, you want to analyze your data within PowerBI. In this session you learn how to extract your data that is inside Business Central to an Azure Data Lake using the bc2adls tool. And how you can maintain your data in there. Next to that, we will show you some tips and tricks using the tool and extend it together with the newly added Data Archive Tool. Presenter: Bert Verbeek Moderator: Jan Hoek 00:03:49 - Agenda 00:04:13 - Bert's introduction 00:04:51 - Azure Data Lake -- 00:04:51 - Why sync? -- 00:07:05 - Azure Data Lake -- 00:08:41 - Azure Synapse 00:09:37 - Scenario 00:11:59 - Business Central sync demo -- 00:21:54 - Setting a time limit on stored data 00:25:00 - Intermediate Q&A 00:27:54 - Data Archive -- 00:28:57 - Sync from Business Central example 00:31:54 - Combining the two worlds together (ADL and BC) 00:42:29 - Helpful info 00:44:33 - Q & AHDFS CSI Plugin: Speed Up Kubernetes in On-Premises Big Data Cluster - Yi Chen & Junping Du, Tencent Kubernetes not only becomes predominant in public cloud area these days, but also becomes a new trend in on-premises big data cluster environment, as an alternative of Hadoop YARN, a resource schedule component. In on-premise big data cluster, majority data are saved in HDFS. How to consume big data in HDFS with Kubernetes is a new challenge to users. In the talk we will introduce our CSI compatible HDFS plugin design and architecture first. Then, we will share our best practices and knowledge about how big data workload Spark use HDFS CSI plugin to access HDFS data when running on K8s. In the end, the TPC-DS benchmark suite will be used to analysis performance comparison between Spark on K8s with HDFS and Spark on YARN with HDFS. https://sched.co/Nrq7Over the last 11 years, the Amazon EC2 virtualization platform has quietly evolved to take advantage of unique hardware and silicon, an accelerated network and storage architecture, and with the launch of C5 instances, a bespoke hypervisor to deliver the maximum amount of resources and performance to instances. Come to this deep dive to get a behind-the-scenes look at how our virtualization stack has evolved, including a peak at how our latest generation platform works under the covers. There is a "Chicken or Egg'' challenge in GitOps. To deploy your application/workflow in a GitOps way, you need to tell your cluster to deploy it. So how do you tell your cluster to deploy your application in a GitOps fashion in a GitOps way? In this episode, we'll explore the concept of "App of Apps'' and how this can mitigate that challenge. We'll also introduce ApplicationSets, a new CRD from the Argo Project that improves upon this design. This is a Proof My Concept hands-on - a technical episode where in practice we look at examples of work on the glow platform. In this episode: - Technology stack overview and documentation - Recommendations where to start - QuickStart Demo GLOW provides a range of infrastructure components. We use google cloud and on-prem data centers at Globallogic. On Control plane - kubernetes k8s and k3s for cases with edge computing Automation is GitHub actions and ArgoCD. One of the main components is the platform Function as a Service which will be discussed today. OpenFaaS is an open platform of functions as a service. The author Alex Alice, together with the open community, and this is more than 200 developers made the product, well documented and friendly in use. The main idea is to enable the development team to focus on the code rather than preparing the environment and infrastructure. For a quick start, we prepared a sandbox. where you can start development and get the result in the cloud in a couple of minutes. OpenFaaS supports both functions and microservices. if you just have a dockerfile - ok you can start with it. There are just three steps build-ship-run or principle Source to URL. You just coding, pushing and get it worked by URL.In this video will discussed about kubernetes kustomization What is Kubernetes Kustomization Kustomize lets you lets you create an entire Kubernetes application out of individual pieces without touching the YAML configuration filesfor the individual components. Install Kustomize Kustomize comes pre bundled with kubectl version 1.14. You can check your version using kubectl version. If version is 1.14 or greater there's no need to take any steps. suppose i have deployed nginx application running successfully i want to update replicas with out touching my base filesIn this month’s quick catch-up section, we discuss the CNCF’s annual report, talk about gamified chaos engineering to test the resiliency of your Kubernetes cluster, more CSI plugins, VMware’s project Nautilus, Google’s Config Connector, a new CIS benchmark tool for GKE, k3c from Rancher labs, and Tanka from Grafana Labs, dual IP stack Pods with Calico, and updates to the CKAD certification. At the end of the training you will have to complete the project based on which we will provide you a Verifiable Certificate! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - About the Course Edureka's Kubernetes Certification Training introduces you with the advantages provided by containers over the virtual machines. You will understand why we need an orchestration tool for containers. You will also get to know the boundaries of Kubernetes – what it does and what is it not supposed to do. You will also understand the inherent architecture of Kubernetes – master components, node components and the addons provided by it. The course will start off with learning the basic components of Kubernetes like Node, Pod, Deployment, Services, APIs etc and then teach you to create a local cluster using Ubuntu VMs. You will also learn to deploy stateful and stateless apps on the cluster. Finally, you will learn, how to expose these app outside of the kubernetes cluster and will also get to know how to scale their apps either manually or using auto scaling. Learn the best security practices that must be followed during this container and cluster orchestration. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Who should go for this course? There is a huge shift in Devops from virtualization to containerization. Docker has been the buzzword in the technology sphere, in the recent past to ship applications as containers. A research states that there are already 10,000 companies who have adopted containers for taking their application to production and there are already 185 million containers on use in the world. The rate of adoption of Docker is increasing by 40% every year. Now that Docker has become the most integral part of production environment, various organizations are now looking out for tools that can help them effectively manage and orchestrate their containers. Here is when industries started adopting a Google open sourced tool called Kubernetes for effectively managing the containers. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Customer Reviews: Ankur Kashyap, DevOps, Build & Release says: “I was enrolled into Devops training from Edureka On a professionalism, they provide a great presentation on the topic that helps to understand the indepth of Devops technology.
